This multi-generational farm started back in 1943 when producer Paulo Flora’s grandfather, Jose Flora, purchased the estate believing it was a promising region for fine coffees. Named Fazenda Cachoeirinha (translating to 'little waterfall') the estate is located in the famous coffee growing region of Pocos de Caldas, Minas Gerais State.
In the 1970’s Paulo’s father Marco began to introduce modern management solutions and technologies, focusing on new seedlings from different varietals, spacing between trees and observing best practices and processes. Today, Paulo is the driving force behind the estate, always striving for quality and excellence in achieving the best specialty coffees.
